One of my favorite quotes says...“Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.” Simplicity is a beautiful thing. And there is nothing more simple than loving someone.
There is nothing I would take away. And nothing I would add. I'm lucky to know you. And better for it.

Sometimes any response to a well-written post will seem insufficient by comparison, and I think this may be one of those times. But I will say this. Anyone lucky enough to find themselves the recipient of your love may in fact not be perfect, but they will struggle to find it and hold onto it. Because you deserve nothing less.
I think that everyone has a bit of perfection in them. Unfortunately, it's hard to see it in ourselves. The world could be a far better place if we could see ourselves through the eyes of someone who loves us without regard.
And thank you. I'm not really sure what I deserve, or don't, for that matter. But I know what I want and I'd rather wait for the timing to be right then to settle for anything less. ;)
